When he texted me about going to dinner with him, I was still inside the training room and that was around 1 PM. When we were on the jeepney on our way to Family Choice (our choice of restaurant was so far off…heheh) he handed me what he claimed from the courtesy booth. Now I know why he really wanna see me … dinner was great … he was one of those few people who remained consistent all through out; the appreciation and the affection he has spontaneously shown is just flattering and overwhelming.  Just felt so special and lucky … despite what I’ve lost.

Didn’t know it’d be this tough, or maybe am just plain stupid, but I find the training fast paced and my mind totally incapacitated to fully absorb all. Coffee doesn’t seem to help me retain my wakefulness … *sigh* or is it just cause I have my mind somewhere else? (charrrrooottt). I called the center earlier and told them, I won’t attend my mandarin class for two weeks,  don’t want to have to think about the training at work and the lessons at school. For sure I’d mess up one of them and I can’t risk that. Heck, I don’t even now what my scheds gonna be in the next couple of days, am not sure if I’d pass this training and get certified. *Sigh* the turn of things the past few days left me on a spin … that I’d space out every so often, I had to mentally kick myself for losing a grip on my emotions.

I wanna do good on the culmination of this training not primarily for myself but for my team lead, don’t wanna let him down … I wouldn’t have any face to show him should I mess up the LM of this training. Though I didn’t ask for this but I gotta make the best out of  what am currently in.  So for two weeks, no more sleeping in the lounge along side people who snore like bears, and I won’t be a hassle to D, who serves as my human alarm clock. Which reminds me, I owe him a good deal for that.

Was told he’d visit for a couple of days, didn’t really mind coz he didn’t inform me.  He did text at one point informing me when he’ll arrive and asked me what’s my current schedule at work so as to plan future “laags”.  Had lunch with him earlier, watched a movie and attended the mass.  So there you go, I got the 3rd sign I asked for but it was with the wrong guy. How ironic things can be, I’ve concluded a long time ago that we’re better off as friends and its funny how the people at work whom we met along the way somehow think otherwise.

Is it not possible for a girl and a boy to go out together? *sigh* the same exact sentiment I had when we went to Bohol together,  people either pass us off as married or lovers when we were,  still are neither. We’re friends plain and simple.
He’s one of the few meaningful relationships, I tend to keep.

Was looking at the overall layout of the site and though this is just a two column layout, I love it and would definitely keep it as it is. On the sidebar though am thinking of placing opinion polls or a quick kind of survey. Haven’t found any specific poll to place though I’ve found the site with the tools to assist me. The site that offers free web Polls for webmasters and online services and one of them is the free counters to track the number of visitors on the site. Most likely I’ll add one come this February, I still have to think of the theme for the poll though.

What I would give for a Baltic Cruise, was doing my usual round of nonchalant surfing and seems like lately I my usual visit would fall on to travel sites. Mom’s bestfriend is in Australia and more than twice a week, its either I text her or she calls me. Training would start this monday and am still floating, Momie Lai said let it sink in … am not sure if it has already. Huhuhu though I’ll be with friends during the training but its still scary…. made me ask myself over and over why am I included, after all am not one of those top agents, am somewhat in between if not close to the bottom.

I dread for monday to come … *sigh*

Bebang and I had a girl to girl talk yesterday over lunch after our shift, we’re not close but she’s a good friend and someone I admire for her strength. Find it heart warming to know that am not the only one who is in need of happiness … that am not the only one who’s not in denial and who has acknowledged the fact that there’s that searing loneliness and emptiness (double jud!!!) haunting us. If only we can buy happiness we would have done anything possible to buy it … its such a hard commodity to come by for people like us that sometimes when I see it in others I get amazed that they have it and I dont.

Someone told me happiness is a state of mind, that if you want to be happy its all up to you, basically the same thing another colleague said. She’s been through this sort of depression stage and can fully relate to what am going through …. accdg. to her its only me who can help myself get over it. *sigh* easier said than done.

We’re the exact opposite, Bebang and I, she can talk about her feelings while I can’t. She has no qualms crying when needed in front of other people, don’t think I’ll ever do that. Tears, were a sign of weakness or so I’ve been told … so whenever I cry, I do it in private …. this seems to be on top of my activities lately *sigh*

Got hurt by what I found out earlier … though I know it’s illogical and I have no right to be feeling this way … but damn! I was hurt, I still am … and only one soul knows about it. She said don’t give up … give it time … how much time do I need to spare? When its plain to see that am the only one waiting for what will never be…

3 girlfriends would be on the lose come Feb … hopefully they’ll approve my leave. Someone used to ask … what exactly do you want? My answer was what I want … you cannot give.

Writing has always been my outlet ever since I was a little kid, authors such as Anne Rice, Stephen King and Caleb Carr are among my favorites. There were certain times during my elementary and high school years where I write my own poems and short stories, used to think I’d go for journalism when I go to college. But here I am ending with a bachelor’s degree in education, what buffles me is how authors or aspiring authors get to publish their own writings. Woke up with a headache and was feverish *sigh* here we go again; didn’t go to school today, am just not feeling well. It’s times like these when I earnestly wish mom’s still around. Somehow hearing her voice would make whatever illness I have go away. I miss her and I don’t know what to do about it.

With the advent of technology students now have the option to enroll in online classes, complete degrees at the comfort of their homes in pyjamas with just their pc hooked up to the internet. But then again nothing beats the traditional classroom setting where students get to interact with fellow students, get to raise questions face to face with the teachers. Some students are not as intelligent as the other and thats what we call diversity, others can very well study on their own while others need the assistance of a tutor. For parents finding a suitable tutor might be a difficult one, one thing to consider would the tutor’s capacity to perform the task at hand and also the availability and the setup for the tutorial sessions. Some would prefer to have it done right after class in the classroom or in the school’s library, others would like to have it done at home. She told me when she sat by the station next to mine, that she approached him asked what time would his shift end and if they could possibly talk. I was stunned. Swallowing her pride and talk to him first, coming up with the courage and the nerve to actually speak to him is just unbelievable. I’ll never understand the situation she’s in or how difficult it must have been for her. But one things for sure, she one hell of a strong woman. Dunno why they can’t be friends, I know its awkward but then again they did it in the first place both consenting adults and though they’re not lovers but it resulted and now they have a baby who never asked to be made in the first place.

She did agree with me that it’d be nice if they can still be friends after what happened. After all they’re both parents now though not tied to one another. When they’re done talking, I noticed that she was happy … though they’ll never be called a couple but at least they’ve reached some sort of compromise and are civil with one another. For the baby and I think for her peace of mind … sad to admit but we (women) always need some sort of closure, only then can we move on.

Now speaking of babies … heard the sound her baby’s making on the phone, so cute. She said she misses her even when she just saw her … tough to become a mom, how much more a single mom. Fully appreciated everything my mom has done for me and I guess I won’t be doing her justice if I end up becoming a nun or worst a spinster. *sigh*

As I’ve told others, I’ve never been good at talking … I mean I can’t usually express myself through speaking especially if it would deal with emotions. *sigh* Am such a nut case. Somehow I manage to lose the ability to coherently express what I feel … heheh … but no matter.

Had my mandarin class, 2nd session last night, and though I was having a hard time during the first session I was able to catch up, even our teacher was impressed at the change and at the progress. After my class I head on straight to the office, and slept in the lounge. I enjoyed the class very much but somehow the constant lack of sleep has taken its toll, that the moment my head hit the bean bag I was asleep. I would have been asleep till who knows when if D didn’t wake me up, I asked him to do me a favor and wake me up the moment he arrives as we have the same shift. I know he’s got a lot of things on his mind (what with anj … oppppsss) but am just grateful that he didn’t forget. And I used to think I can make it on my own but this and many other incidents proved that am nothing without people who care *sigh*

Used to think he was just like one of those other people who come and go, that all those question and answer sessions where he pries my mind to try to understand what I think were just out of curiosity and sheer pity but now I know am wrong. Looking back at all those conversations we’ve had, the way he cares for his friends is just amazing. I feel so lucky to be one of them, I may not know how to show it but just wanna let him know (he reads my blog once in a while) that I’ve appreciated everything that he’s done, that despite seeing the worst in me he’s still around and hopefully continue to be so.

*sigh* so emo … I gotta end this entry here otherwise I’d be late and Ching Ching will kill me … the constant pain in my head and my sorethroat has finally prompted me to see the quack. So am headed there in the next 20 minutes to see the quack and Ching Ching and to grab one tall Coffee Jelly plus Honey Glazed Doughnut at Starbucks … heheheh.
