if I said I Love You … What Would You Do?

Too Impulsive

Talked to Kitoy via IM earlier seeking his opinion on my plan of getting a house for myself. Just like those previous opinion I sought from him, there’s always those questions that I need to answer, questions that I find myself with no answer. So this time was no different, it end to the statement that am too impulsive. Impulsive yeah I know, heck my notebooks are proof to that but adding the word “too” just before it, ’twas shocking.

I want a house (take note I used the word want and not need) because living in this house with my uncle is one hellish experience. I don’t have as much freedom and solitude.

But are these reasons valid enough to make myself commit to a very long term housing loan?

I’ve talked to Brad and Kitoy, there’s just about 6 persons I need to talk to before I make up my mind.

  1. weng buying a house is completely up to you. for me it will be good investment cause as what people say, real properties are always the best investment. you can ask lex and she’ll tell you the same thing. just be careful when you buy it. make sure that it’s location will be one of the most sought after locations in the future. you know like moalboal, san fernando, etc…

  2. If living with your uncle is limiting you, why don’t you just move out, find an apartment for yourself…and not necessarily take the big leap of getting a “house” right away. It’s never good for a Sage to be “chained” you know. ;)

  3. @faery rowan – moving out is not an option at this point … the issue has a lot of complications, more complications that I dont have the patience to blog about in detail. As far as being “chained” thats basically how I feel at this point … to the point I resorted to sleeping in the lounge at work.

  4. it’s all up to you wng. but let me tell you, investing on a house that you can call your very own in the near future, after 20 yrs or so… is like owning 10 mac laptops it’s an investment. real estate would be one of the safest investment nowadays. you can always sell it. (if in case you’ll marry a shiek from the middle east and would rather stay in a palace that was made specially for you with your seven kids.) LOL!
if you’ll ask me i’d go for it.

    i have 3 words for you…

    1. LOCATION

    2. COST

    3. COMFORT

LOCATION – how far is it from everything that really matters to you… bank, department stores, Hospital, Police station, fire station etc.

COST – if the price is right why not. anyway the value will be more than you can think of in just a few years. give it 5 to 10 yrs.
    $$$$$$$

COMFORT – is it that kind of place that you can call “home”??? no water or electrical power interruption, friendly neighbours who will invite you for dinner just because…

    if these words wont help…
    dont know what will. =(-”,-)=
