Intervention
They always say intervention is better than cure … or was it prevention is cure? Anyways when Leslie said she wants a baby out in the open, her friends said nothing bout what they heard but thought it might be good if they intervene, after all its just a few months before graduation. Or maybe they need to have her sent to the counselors office for good ol counseling. Sometimes friends are annoying when they are at their nosiest but I guess they just mean well, so when Jess was referred for drug rehab it was the friends who knew first then the parents. Drug detoxification was one of the things mentioned apparently the guy has been on prohibited drugs for quite sometime, since he’s parents were always out of town, one trip after the other. Neglected? I guess so but not intentional on the parents side … all they wanted was … I dunno what they wanted. But there it was … he is on rehab, she is on counseling. Imagine what kind of parents they’d make if she were to get pregnant and he was to continue going on what he was doing.
But now they’re both safe I should say, thanks to the annoying, nosy and supportive friends … intervention was injected though albeit late but in place just the same.
