When she said in her email that they were busy with the house I was under the impression that they were looking for house. People at work all said that I have restless feet and that in no time I’d be able to visit all of Asia and then head on to the rest of the world. I have been wanting to go embark on one of the many European cruises available, then if all goes well and when I have enough money I’d embark on a Caribbean cruise. Someday … all in good time.

Sometime back in December, two years ago … we all noticed how Sherry seemed to be wearing turtleneck blouses all the time. We attributed that to the cold weather and the need to cover much of oneself, apart from the turtleneck blouses and dresses she was also using scarves which was pretty much unlikely. I mean she was like me … a fan of jeans, tees and chuck taylor so the change was something we kept to ourselves and didn’t mention it out loud after all everyone is entitled to a fashion makeover every now and then. What was rather weird back then was the way she kept on the touching her nape as if it was itchy, she didn’t make scratching movements it was more of like a frustrated person’s way of touching the back of the neck when something gets really screwed up.

Just a few weeks ago, we were told that Jillian had developed some sort of ugly and itchy rashes all round her neck and it was covered with red ugly blotches that seemed to swell as tha days pass by. It was then when someone mentioned that maybe Sherry had the same kind of allergy back then but was only to shy to admit it. Now doing much research online Cassie found a site offering several neck cream products that might help eliminate what’s on Jillian’s neck right now and before deciding on which product there are several neck cream reviews to go through to avoid buying non-effective products.

*sigh* School has been taking most if not all of my time. Am doing my practice teaching at a SPED center somewhere in Mandaue and am assigned at the Pre-School/Grade 1 leve, Hearing Impaired children.Now I need a refresher on my sign language and am just finding it hard. Huhuhuhuhu. It is definitely a challenge and one of the reasons why I have not visited any of you guys back … so sorry but when this is done, things would definitely go back to the way they were.

Went to school earlier to have my clearance signed and to enroll for the summer. I only have one more subject to take and that is Strategies and Teaching Apprenticeship, my ticket to taking the comprehensive exam by the end of May. If all goes well and I pass the comprehensive exam then I’d be writing my thesis by June and finish my masters degree by March 2010.

Stone sinks are a trend nowadays so its not unusual to find elegant and classy farmhouse sinks in elegant marble stone or in some other shades of blue. Now isn’t that fancy? I haven’t been a farmhouse all my life but pictures on the net made it really enticing. One of these dayssss I’d like to go visit one and maybe spend a day or two.

Yep, you got that right. Am officially on LOA starting April 14, 2009 all the way to May 2009. Summer started today and I’ll be having my practicuum this summer, if all goes well I’ll take the comprehensive exam by May and start on my thesis writing by June. One more year to go and I’ll be done with my masters degree … looking forward to enrolling in AB Psych. 

Claiming that they manufacture the best diet pills is a very common and way too overused line by many if not all drug company. Most of them claim to be the best in the market just to get the attention of consumers, but there are actually others who have proven their claims time and again. This can be measured by the testimonials given by satisfied customers who really did lose weight after trying their pills out. So which ones to go for? Ready the testimonials and take it from there.

It may not be a very common illness but it surely does exist especially to those who are in constant exposure to asbestos. Know of anyone who is? Better suggest that they consult with their doctors just to be sure, coz they could be diagnosed of mesothelioma a form of cancer due to over exposure of asbestos. The better it is known the better it is to get help.

As soon as I get my dream house I’d want something like this for the undermount sink. Hehehe though that might take sometime though as getting a house is something I plan on accomplishing sometime next year but I guess there’s nothing wrong with scouting on the bits and pieces that I might need for my dream house. I am so excited I just cannot wait.

I received this photo from work. Instead of the usual Easter Egg with a chick on it, this one shows a hamster and they’re just as adorable and perfect for Easter Sunday.

I have been terribly busy in the past week, never knew I’d get caught in my tasks what with the sudden unexpected projects coming my way. It’s just overwhelming to be having so many projects to work on that I barely have time to blog and visit my friends in the blogosphere. Sorry bout that.

But I’ll be off next week, the start of my LOA that is and hopefully by then I’d be able to manage things out and balance my time. See yah guys and thanks for the visit.

Amongst the many fads in the diet industry is the diet supplement, don’t get me wrong this is different from diet pills or so they claim and is more of supplying the body with the necessary vitamins and minerals needed which are lacking from the daily food intake. Question now is which ones to go for? Seeing that just like diet pills they too are spreading like wildfire. Consult a nutritionist to be safe.

Ever since I started this blog I haven’t started any contest nor have I participated on any. It’s way overdue I know but better late than never. Most bloggers would do it on their blogversary but I chose to do it this April.

Am still sorting out the details but its definitely coming up. So do check My Pink Shoelace out every now and then … will keep you guys posted.

When I saw the ad for the nationwide sale in Singapore, it just made my eyes go round as saucers. *sigh* Wish I had gone there later so I can catch on the big sale. Am sure there would be loads of perfumes and designer clothes on sale of up to 70%. But that’s okay … there’s always online shopping. Who know’s I might bump into an online shop that is having a sale too.

This was the text he typed in my 4th worksheet. Am way over due for my TESOL class and right now am cramming. Couple of months back I sent him the notes and worksheet for Module 4 and asked him to answer it for me. Which he did but on top of the paper was the disclaimer. Hahahaha find it funnny … and cute.

After Hong Kong we took a ferry and went to Macau. Stayed at Best Western Taipa and went casino hopping.

Finally I was able to try my hands on the slot machine, not much luck though but it was fun. Shopping was amazing in St. Paul’s Ruins. It was jam packed with people native and tourists alike and I had a good time looking through the variety of pastries for pasalubong.

To those I missed out … sowwweeeee … am going back this month anyways.

It is hard to find a good source of trust fund to finance your investment in the future. Especially for a young adult like me who is earning more that the minimum wage, it is the best time to think about how I can look beyond the present and save. However, searching for some good establishments is no effortless task. I should have a basic understanding of how money works when it comes to the plans that I will apply. I need to know if the money that I will be spending will be worth it or will it have a good return of investment.

Because it is really difficult to see a good bank that is safe and secure, I ought to research more information about bonds and the like. It is not easy to just risk all your hard-earned money for an overnight scheme. You don’t want to see your capital to all go to waste just because you oversaw a particular flaw due to the lack of education or in other words, ignorance.

I have to understand the concepts and issues of credit unions versus banks. It would be best to have a good knowledge on the language of finance and investing because there are a number of people who get duped and fooled everyday due to people who know something taking advantage of people who know nothing. Also, in these trying times, you can not expect to just trust anyone because they will guarantee you huge proceeds of the bonds that you have signed. We should face the reality that aside from the recession, everybody has been wary and afraid and skeptical whether to engage themselves in a particular program which is actually a good thing. Most people will definitely provide some proper investigation before venturing into uncharted territories where money can lead you.

The trip has been planned months ago and I’ve been looking forward to it since then. We were able to save on the accomodation in HK because we stayed at his cousin’s house. We arrived Tuesday night (March 24, 2009) and went to Ocean Park the following day. Spent the whole day roaming around Ocean Park. The place is huge and packed with tourists like us.

Was amazed to see real live pandas up close and they’re just adorable. Since I can’t take a live one home I settled for the stuffed toy available in the souvenir shops within the park.
