I have come to a decision or shall I say the sign I have been waiting for finally arrived and that it is time for me to cut all ties and move forward. I’ve always been hesitant to make big decisions taking solace in what am used to and my comfort zone but if I don’t do this I’ll prolly spend the rest of my life asking what if … so am taking a chance and I believe the time for it is now.
There are still some things that need to be done … I’d like to make this a very smooth transition as possible that is and be prepared for what’s to come.
As part of opening a general merchandise store is a barcode scanner together with the cash register, the software company who offered to setup their POS system included all these in the package and the price was great it also includes a one year technical support. It would probably take a week for the setup to complete so hopefully by second or third week of May their store would be operational.
I’ve managed to download the episodes of Weiss Kreuz including the OVA’s: Verbrechen & Strafe so now am just looking for the second part of the anime as well the drama cds. I cannot seem to find them online … checked on ebay and found the complete Weiss Kreuz Gluhen set but am not sure if they ship to PH. *sigh* If I get to Japan one of these days I’d definitely look them up and buy them.
Lexie has just emailed me asking for help in creating magnificent wedding invitations for her sister and as much as I’d love to help but I myself got my hands full already. So I just suggested that she try searching for companies offering printing services. There are loads of companies online and offline offering such a service and the rate is dependent on the complexity of the design and the number of copies; the more the cheaper is what they say.
I haven’t been this sickly before and I realized that all this started happening when I began working in a call center. I mean true my asthma began when I was like 4 mos. old but it hasn’t been that severe back then but now it has gone to way abnormal. Since I started I’ve been to countless of doctors, allergologist, eent’s, internal medicine doctors and a whole bunch of others all telling me that if I don’t stop what am doing now I’d prolly end up with hearing aids by the time am 30.
So today I am absent again due to swollen tonsils, it’s very difficult for me to speak as well as swallow even my own saliva. Huhuhuhu, I called the office and spoke with our OM himself and explained my problem he accepted my explanation and reminded me to make sure I bring a medcert.
A friend of mine at work is soon to have her third baby and right now she is on LOA as her pregnancy has taken a rather delicate turn. When she was still on the first quarter of her pregnancy she mentioned to us once that her OB has provided her with the best prenatal vitamins to ensure that the baby would be strong and healthy, though it’s quite costly but she said all for the baby would be definitely worth it.
Te Kate and I had a short coaching session which ended with us talking about the next possible team building escapade. She mentioned that Diva actually suggested going on an island picnic via Island Banca Cruises. It’s travel company based in Punta Engano offering a whole of services such as fish feeding, scuba diving, island hopping, kayaking as well as snorkeling and dolphin watching. We checked their website out and thought we’d go for Lechon Bbq picnic but since we couldn’t get any price on the website so she filled out the form to get a quote.
I persuaded her to select after the 15th of May, at least by then we’d have enough money as it’s after payday and hopefully I’d be able to join them this time but I am not that optimistic. If I cannot join this team building I hope I would be able to take one of the banca cruises with friends some other time. I saw this picture on the website and it’s really enticing and I sure hope I’d be able to capture a somehow similar picture with me in it … lol.
I have an affinity for good food I mean who doesn’t right? The only catch is I have no cooking skills whatsoever I am a total klutz in the kitchen so all I can do is eat out alone or with friends or have a friend do the cooking and we’ll have a cookout, of course I have my own share of contribution for the ingredients and all.
Right now I am craving for some California maki and sushi hopefully I’d get to dine in a Japanese restaurant real soon.

Isn’t this just perfect??!! Infinity pool and blue as far as the eyes can see. I got this while searching for images of Bali and I want to go to Bali with friends next year hopefully on March or April at least we still have a year or so to save up for this vacation grande. I have suggested this trip over to a couple of friends at work and they seem warm to the idea, am crossing my fingers that this will push through.
From a mere 107 lbs. to a 120 lbs. is not a good sign. I know I ought to stop eating at eat all you can buffets and what not. I have been splurging on good food as of late and it’s not doing good on my weight. Waaaaaaaaa and to think am this heavy during the summertime, good thing I don’t have any planned summer outing. I have been tempted to take some of the heavily advertised weight loss diet supplement recommended by friends but I still want to lose weight the proper way and I hope I’d get there soon.
They say real men wear pink, a pink shirt or a polo maybe but as of earlier today I it must have been a pink ties day as I managed to spot 3 business men in different locations wearing a variety of pink shaded tie with varying designs on them and it was rather cute and a bit unnerving … the fact that I noticed and that they didn’t look all gay at all. Shoosh … those boys managed to pull it off still looking very manly and decent, though I doubt this would look good on everybody.

Druggie and I were chatting one afternoon I saw him online and I was in desperate need of someone who can buy me load for my mobile as there’s no one selling it in my vicinity. So I pinged him and thankfully he agreed and solved my dilemma, he also got me addicted to playing this game, “Plants vs. Zombies“. He sent the game via email and I never got to open it till last night as I got curious when I saw another friend of mine talking about it on his IM shout out. What’s the fuss all about? lol
I had been playing for 3 hours straight without noticing … only paused when my stomach started to grumble and I realized I haven’t taken my meds yet. Waaaaaaaaaaaaa nice way to spend 3 days of rest huh? lol Give it a shot who knows you too might be addicted … hehehe
The old adage says that a diamond is a girl’s best friend now I guess this works for all the other girls but as for me … my best friend is my iPod. lol Now imagine seeing these gorgeous loose diamonds on a set of perfectly crafted set composing of a necklace, a pair of earrings, bracelet and an elegant ring. It’d be a total stunner, don’t you think?
I have a thing for fairy tales and musicals and Cinderella is just one of the many classics I cannot seem to get over with. As you all know there are several variations and adaptations to the fairy tale “Cinderella”, musicals, films, animations and stage plays has been produced based on this age old fairy tale. Not exactly my favorite fairy tale of all time [Beauty and Beast holds the crown for me] but it’s a wonderful story just the same. There’s the Disney animation which spawned two more sequels and they were great. Then there’s Drew Barrymore in the movie, Ever After: A Cinderella Story and a whole lot of others.
One of the movies I really liked and just finished watching is a rendition of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella which stars the R&B artist Brandy as Cinderella, Whitney Houston as the fairy godmother, Whoopi Goldberg as the Queen, Victor Garber as the King and of course Paolo Montalban as the Prince.
Now Paolo Montalban also played the role of Kung Lao in Mortal Kombat: Conquest and guess what he is a Filipino, yooohoo made me proud to see a Filipino in the big screen and one more thing he can sing. Oh yes, he can sing … watch the musical and you’d see what I mean.
I’m not certain if this had a theatrical release but I assure you the music and everything was just beautiful. Let’s listen to one of the songs in the movie, my absolute favorite, it’s titled “Ten Minutes Ago”.

I used to have a Pink Lenovo Ideapad S10 but I sold it because I grew tired of it, I know … am obsessive compulsive. I found another pink laptop that’s so so so cute and I cannot wait to get my hands on it; it’s 10.2 inches and it’s manufactured by Sony.
Crossing my fingers that this would be available in the local Sony shops here so I could get my hands on it.

You know how they say that when a door closes a new one opens? I’ve heard it several times and I thought I always believed in it but right now I am not so sure. Possitivity has not always been my strongest point and most often than not it gets rattled by events so sudden balancing things over takes a whole lot of strength imaginable.
When people leave you have no choice but to accept and believe that they are going on to a much better place and holding them back for your own personal reasons would be totally selfish and unforgivable. But what if letting them go means losing a part of you?
In work as much as in life people come and go … I was told that all one can do is be thankful that at some point in your life they have come and painted your life with memories. They may choose to stay or leave but should they leave all you could do is accept and hope that someday somehow your paths will cross again.
Change is inevitable, all things happen for a reason whether we understand it or not. All one can do is make the best of what they’ve been presented and pray for brighter days.

I’ve been meaning to get real thin but it has not come to a point yet that am considering taking slimming pills. Right now though with my current ulcer and the fact that I have so many food restrictions dieting is the last thing on my mind. But I do have a friend who’s into it as well and since I came across a site listing several or should I say tons of reviews about the best diet pills out there in the market, I might as well give this to her before she decides to buy one.
One of the things Casey has been busy with as of late is shopping for men’s clothing for this dear brother who just finished college and is now off to join the corporate world. Apparently he’s good taste in music is the exact opposite when it comes to his taste in apparels lol, you should have seen him pick up an ensemble on his own, it was hilariously cute but certainly not corporate right. So Casey’s off shopping for him!
The newest sensation in body building to hit town is the dip station and my good ol buddy is dying to have one of these, he’s thinking of getting a dip bar which he said was perfect for serious strength training what’s more is that it is very compact and that it would even fit in the trunk of a car. So right now he’s working out in the gym and at the same time saving up enough monies to get buy his dip bar. Hope he’d be able to save up soon.
I am going to miss yet another team building because of my schedule. You see they always schedule team buildings on a Sunday and a Monday; this would be the first team building for our team and it’d be on the 18th and 19th but I cannot go because I have work and the vacation leave that I filed for [unpaid I might add] was not approved and for the life of me I cannot understand why it’s not approved.
What I was told was that the scheduler does not approve it and there’s nothing we can do … now that “reason” is not good enough, wanna know why? I have seen them place and remove schedules manually … so telling me it cannot be done is bullshit, they have to do better than that. Now you might say why not swap rest days so I can go.
I am currently working my 7th day in a row because of a swap and I gotta tell you I will not do it again ever. Joining the team building is enticing but if its at the expense of working 10 days straight then forget it; what ticks me off is that my team lead approved those dates that I filed for already but the scheduler [may God rest his soul] rejected it.
Telling me I cannot go on leave because we are understaffed doesn’t make any sense, it’s not my fault we are understaffed, it’s not my fault people are leaving the account. I have seen them put a schedule when there’s none and remove it for these swaps am in right now … I cannot figure out why they disapproved what my team lead already approved of.
Now I am ranting here because I cannot tell them straight to their faces what I think … why? because I’d bet my soul on it that I’d hear the infamous line … “If you’re not happy with the way things are then leave”. Sad but true am not yet ready to leave … so here I am coming to work every day growing bitter and bitter by the minute.
They might have their reasons management wise but I as a minority don’t get it … nor do I give a shit. I’m not asking to go on leave with pay … it’s without pay … let me reiterate without pay. Cripes!
