With the advancement of technology a lot of things have progressed just the same. Electronic pickpocketing has been famously heard of any many parts in the world where those people who wallets have been stolen could have their credit card numbers snapped up using some type of machine. Then the pick pocketers could extract their account information anduse that for their own evil gains.
I have been craving for ice cream (bingqilin) for quite some time now and the opportunity to binge in presented itself when my friends and I went to Ayala to have dinner and went to Gelatissimo for dessert. Given the large selection of ice cream flavors we had a hard time deciding. Since there were 4 of us the sales lady suggested we try Gelatissimo’s Coppa Bambino which would give all the flavors in mini scoops, totaling to 32 flavors all in all.
Of the 32 flavors I could only recall about 7 or 8 (lime, choco chip, forest berry, dark chocolate, coconut, melon, and raspberry). We finished the large bowl of ice cream and vowed not to mention the word ice cream to each other in the next couple of days.

This would be my first cosplay event ever and am actually looking forward to it. There was a time when I was in Singapore where there was a cosplay event but I was only a passerby back then. RJ and I would prolly meet up this week to discuss further details of our costume.

I’m on the net for another round of useless site hopping when I landed on this image. I find it utterly alluring and from my point of view it looks vintage. There were tons of other designs to choose from some come in solid colors, others in stripes and quite a lot in unique patterns like the one above.
Yesterday I spent the whole day wandering around the streets of Cebu joining in the throng of people enjoying the parade. Lucky for me the parade passes by the road near my home and not too far from where I live I saw a float carrying anime cosplayers and they looked really cool. Take a look below:
As my friends and I went further along we found this kid in the sideline eating tempura dressed up as Naruto and we went ahead and had our photos taken with him. He was really cute though it looked like all the fuss we made about how cute he was made him all shy. It made me wonder if there are other anime cosplayers out there.
Isn’t he just adorable or what? We were just glad he was so willing to pose with us.
Off to the streets to enjoy Sinulog 2011 with friends 
I found a long lost friend on Facebook and I found out after chatting with her for an hour or two that she is currently living in Taichung, Taiwan. She told me that a year ago she saw an advertisement for manufacturing jobs in Taiwan. She went through the address posted on the flier and there started her application before she knew it she was flying to Taichung to start working.

Must be the side effects of all those anime series I’ve been watching. My Mandarin and Japanese are getting very mixed up.

I was told that having a permanent tattoo is not a good idea. Several people said that I would not be able to work abroad with a tattoo but I find that idea pretty senseless. I guess that just shows how close minded some people could be especially those from the older generation. Some even suggested that I get them lasered off or find the best tattoo removal cream in the market. Since creams like that are not easily available in the city they suggested I search the web for stores that carry them. As if I’d want to remove my tattoos in the first place.

Ken was talking about starting his own blog site but is quite unsure as to which web hosting provider to go for.
