A friend of mine from work asked me once what TV show I was currently watching and I told him I have just finished Chuck. He then said that I should watch Outsourced as it is very hilarious and that I would love it.
So I did and boy I love it. It’s freaking hilarious and those of us who used to work/are still working in a call center can totally relate to the show. After watching it till its current episode I have come to the conclusion that I find Gupta the funniest and the craziest of all the employees under Todd’s care. Alright, you ought to watch it … then you’ll like Gupta too. Hehehehe
Whenever I watch movies set in the ancient times the currency has always been the same, gold coins. It looks like back in the ancient days gold in any form is the most precious and most expensive metal. Today though I was told that anyone bringing in gold in any form would be questioned quite heavily and treasure hunting is considered overrated. To buy gold even in its smallest form is very costly and common people definitely could not afford it. I wonder what it’d be like to have tons of gold bars in my possession. lol
Ever since I started doing online freelance work back in 2007, I realized that I have a soft spot for people who would ask me if I could pass on a project or two to them. Back then I started doing article writing and when things get a bit out of hand, I’d manage to ask several of my friends whom I know to have excellent writing skills to help me out.
At the moment since I am juggling between two full time jobs and two part time projects I have asked two veteran freelancers (they probably started doing freelance work a few months after I started) to help me out. The arrangement seems to work really well for us and I hope this continues as it is helps all three of us earn money on the side.
I have longed for a fancy house or apartment of my own with a fully equipped kitchen and a matching double bowl undermount sink like the image above. I have seen several model houses but since they were all way out of my budget all I can is just day dream.
Saving up for it would definitely take a while but I guess that is all I can for now at least.
The idea is to renovate her living room first and then move to the rest of the rooms in the house. She has been planning this renovation for close to a year now and finally she told us that she now has sufficient budget to get this project rolling. The first thing she’d like done is to canvass the cost for laminate floors more particularly those with rustic or piano finish.
I have done a search online for it and realized that they sure don’t come in cheap. I wonder if her budget is more big enough to cover it.
A friend of mine invited me to join GetGlue.com saying that it is fun and that I would get free stickers. Yeah, you read that right … stickers. I have always been a fan of accessories, I don’t wear them often but I though love looking at them. I have this affinity for beaded bracelets and have managed to acquire quite a lot. A friend of mine used to make hand made accessories and sell them at work, her creations were quite a hit since they were all unique and nice looking. She also this knack for finding really cheap and durable beading supplies either online or in the flea market. How she finds the inspiration for her work is beyond me but they’re stunning.
I first saw this anime series when I was in grade one which was what around 1992 – 1993 and back then it was shown on ABC 5 in Filipino dubbing. Mom used to tie my hair in pig tails like that of Sailor Moon and I used to collect all sorts of Sailor Moon game cards.
Now 11 years later here I am watching the entire series again, I was not able to watch it back then completely and now I just realized that the English dub of the series sucks. I mean literally it sucks, the voices are so forced that the emotions you hear sounds so unreal. I guess I could not really blame them I mean this was what 10 years ago and voice acting must not be that good back then.
Still this was one of the series that shaped the otaku in me …
I only get 3 to 4 hours sleep per day but I’ve never felt this free in years. I work 16 to 20 hours per day on different projects yet I don’t mind at all. They don’t seem like work and working from home make things a lot easier. All my employers are currently in Europe and it’s kinda funny how all three of them are from there.
True the chances of me going out with friends is close to nil but am satisfied with the direction this is all heading. It’s what I’ve always wanted and something mom and I used to talk about. Too bad she’s no longer around to see me do it.
I’ve never been this busy I think, I canceled all travel plans with friends and I just hope they’d understand. Everyday before I go to sleep I thank God for these projects I landed.
Whoever said working from home is impossible, is downright wrong.
I’ve seen one of these on eBay and based on the product title and description I was wondering if this wilson cellular booster would work with my prepaid broadband internet plug it. The broadband plug it utilizes a sim card which can be used on any cellular phone so I wondered if this booster can be used to boost the signal of my prepaid internet connection. It’s pretty slow and definitely does not live up to its advertised upto 1mbps connection speed.
A friend of mine from my old work kept on insisting that I sign up and get medical insurance from him. He has been an agent for quite some time now and has been recruiting several of our co-workers to get a plan from him. I am not sure which insurance company he is affiliated with and though I kept telling him am not yet ready to go with it, I have been doing research on my own. I have come across Blue Cross NC and have read the reviews online, they all seem favorable. I still have several reading to do before I sign up for it but hopefully I’d get it done before the year ends.
During my high school and college days I am used to burning the midnight oil and would not sleep till the wee hours at dawn. Let us just say I am a night person who prefers to work in the silence of the night. Because of this late night routines I ended up asking several of my friends how to get rid of dark circles under the eyes since I seem to have a rather dark one under mine.
They have provided me with several products to try but in the long run I realized that the best way to get it to lighten is to catch normal hours of sleep and eat healthy.

A house overlooking the beach is one of the things I’d like to own someday. The idea of waking up every morning to the cool breeze is just fantastic. Did a bit of surfing online and found several Southern Shores rental rental available to those who could afford it. LOL I mean places like that with a good view of the ocean is bound to cost a fortune. Hopefully one of these days my lottery number would have its lucky break and I’d be able to afford one of these houses. *Crossing my fingers*
