My Pink Shoelace

I have been looking for a window blind to replace what we have; it was 2 years old and needed to retire so at the moment our window’s pretty bare. Been to the mall lately and I’ve seen several kinds of blinds to choose from but they are not on sale so I guess I’d like to wait a while and see if some of them gets the 20% off tag on them. I’d like one of those wood blinds in brown or black like the ones we used to have.

When the wintery cold season arrives leather hand gloves, bonnets, jackets, ear muffs and a whole lot more if I were in  a country with heavy cold weather I’d love to have a set of pink jackets, ear muffs, gloves and a whole lot more but since I am in a tropical country I don’t get to bear boots, ear muffs and the whole lot but a close friend of mine in the States has a lot of need for them and what catches her fancy are those leather hand gloves designed by Michael Kors … a bit costly but definitely worth it or so she says.

In the dream house I have pictured out in my head would have a large pond plus a grotto somewhere on the backyard so when I saw several pond kits out online that are being used in several homes in the United States. There are several home designers who would actually recommend what size would complement your house and where to put it. So maybe when I get to have my dream house built I’ll hire an interior decorator and get a beautiful pond to match.

This basement dehumidifier is perfect accessory for the basement part of my dream house. Whoooppeeee … ok so that by itself is a long shot but still I have already pictured out my dream house in my head that it involves a lot of Japanese and Chinese art, wood and incense plus pink and brown schemes in at least one room. Am still not sure what color goes to the basement.

*sigh* I loooooove one lol. A pink Sony Vaio that is; my second choice after a macbook only problem is this beauty is very expensive *sigh* I guess I’ll just have to just continue looking at it every time I pass by the Sony store at SM … Yikes!

With the evolution of technology several companies have developed software which made transaction smooth and hassle free.  A windows based software called Q-Check gives merchants the capability to receive check by phone; all legal and doesn’t require the signature of the depositor just perfect for the busy merchant.

I’m not saying I have arthritis but I know of quite a few people around my age who seem to be suffering from this symptom every once in a while. arthritis treatment is common, quite affordable and over the counter though what you’d see buying these types of treatment most of the times would be those aging folks, the very reason why it bugs my friend a lot to go and buy them herself. Thanks to Mrs. Lopez [the housekeeper] she doesn’t have to do it all on her own.

I have been sickly most of my adult life and speculations have it that my work environment is not helping at all so I was advised to take some vitamins to help supplement whatever food I take … assuming I take any lol. So given the advise of my quack, I am supposedly taking the best multivitamin ever created … beats the A-Z from Centrum. Yikes!

Several companies often employ call center services for their customer service and technical support rather than setting up an in house department for those services. Ever wonder why? I have and one of the explanation given to me was that in house support is more expensive than contracting an off shore call center to do the job for you. Many huge companies in the US have set up contract with different BPO’s on the other side of the globe to be their customer service and tech support lines.

Most people I know believe that the online freebies you see on email advertisements which usually appear on the junk folder are just nothing but pure unadulterated adverts. But safe to say there are actually several companies and sites that do offer real freebies, some in the form of contest prizes, some for the promotion of new products. If you google for like it win it freebies it would give you several search results, or if you go for win free stuff online, it would give you several blog sites that actually offer those goodies for free if you join and win in their blog contest.

In my dream house I want everything to be in all shades of pink, my house would probably look like a doll house isn’t that cute? I found several pink kitchen sinks online and I want something like this in my future home.

I guess I could be Barbie, only missing to make it a perfect doll house would be the wanna be Ken. Guess he isn’t born yet … lol. Or maybe he got tied in another doll house … in time he’ll come home.

I am looking for one of these polaroid cameras, or any of those retro instant polaroid cameras and I have no way of getting them here. *sigh* I know what you’re thinking … and yeah I have a digital camera .. 10.1 mp but I love this and I want one. tugs!

I prolly look like him, I’ve had sleeping problems since I can remember and dark circles have begun to stay permanently under my eyes. I have tried to sleep several times but is only successful on certain times, guess I’ll just have to accept the fact that I am insomniac. I’ve made it a habit to try and drink milk before my bed time hours I think it helps but still I’d say am lucky to be able to get at 4 hours of sleep.

When I went to Singapore and Hong Kong couple of months back one of the things a friend of mine asked me to buy him was smokes and good old classic cigar. Seems like we don’t have much of those cigar store that sells imported ones.  So when I was there I tried to look for cigarette stores but all I find were the shops inside the airport and it wasn’t really much. lol

I just adore her! I have managed to download several of her music videos as well as live performances, the way she moves her body is just amazing. Only very few ladies in this world have such perfect body without an ounce of belly fat, unfortunately am not one of them …lol. Was told learning how to belly dance is a good way to lose that flab in your tummy, yikes! I seem to have a pair of left feet bwahahaha. Guess I’ll just feast my eyes on the gorgeous Shakira.

One of the many things you can’t do where am at lol. Snow, winter and white christmas … not here. But seeing movies with ski vacation themes and scenes makes me wonder what it must be like. I was told if you want to feel what snow’s like then just scrape the building ice on the walls of your freezer and that’s it. Tugs! But I wonder if I’ll ever get the chance to learn how to ski … maybe … someday.

I still have my school textbooks from kindergarten all the way to college and I guess right now I am willing to let go of those really old ones like the ones from my preschool years . I didn’t let them go before thinking that someday I might have a need for them but right now they are taking up much space and are collecting dusts that I think donating them to one of those donate a book cause would be a good idea.

I’d love to have one of those fancy tv stands you see in the malls, I saw some online and I cannot believe the rather huge price difference. My friend said to think of the difference as the sales and import tax … toinks! I guess she’s right but still if I could figure out how much the shipping and handling would cost I’d prolly opt to buying one online. Hmmm … we’ll see, Christmas is fast approaching and this one sure is on my list.

Isn’t it cute?? Hehehe I think it is and its part of the Holiday Fun Eyeglasses shipment part of the New Arrivals of the well known $8 Prescription Zenni Glasses. They have several cute and new designs all in time for the holiday seasons and right now I am thinking of getting a new one just like the one on the picture above … or maybe I could an Emily the Strange designed frame lol. My last glasses were of a Mickey Mouse designed frame … its time to go frame hunting!

Aging! lol a neighbor of mine who’s rather vain is trying her hardest to keep those wrinkles at bay. She’s only in her early thirties but she has been using all sorts of facial products just to keep the youthful look on, we kept telling her … aging is inevitable but she won’t listen. She said so long as she has the best wrinkle cream in her bathroom mirror that should prolong her youthful glow.

Someone from the office who has signed up for some networking deal mentioned to us once that one of the products they are selling is a weight loss supplements made of herb properties that’s guaranteed to help you loss all those fats around the middle lol. Though no one from our circle of friends have tried it but she’s been convincing us that it’ll work.

Tugs! That’s what my uncle said when I arrived yesterday from work. The faucet in the bathroom is no longer working, I mean even though you seal it tight water would still go dripping in easy succession that in a day we’d have 1 big pail full of dropping water, not good for the water bill.  Now that it’s my rest day I’d prolly go window shopping at the malls looking at the home and hardware section for faucets [hopefully there's a pink one lol] and see if I can buy something to my liking.

Don’t know how long before this new gig would keep off but am crossing my fingers, this might just be the window of opportunity that I’ve been waiting for.

I’ve managed to resist all temptations of getting a new tv despite seeing that all brands of the plasma tvs are on sale for the entire week. I know window shopping would only test my self control and cause havoc to my waking moments knowing that I won’t be able to forget what was on sale. Grrrrr ….  I’ve mentioned the sale to Kaye and she said she’d check it out tomorrow. We’ll see if she’d be able to resist the temptation like I have.

Someone from the group asked how to lose belly fat and I was like good question. Isn’t that the reason why we’re all here? lol Losing weight has always been Chelsea’s major concern though it’s a concern for me too but I weigh 120 lbs compared to her who right now weighs a massive 160 lbs. So we’re working on losing a considerable amount of that while I on the other hand is struggling on going back to my old weight of a mere 107 lbs. Huhuhuhuh I desperately want that back.

Just a couple of weeks ago our team leads were distributing out forms that we need to fill out for our health insurance and it made me realize once again that it was indeed a good thing to be a part of the company am currently in. The benefits are superb and though it is easy nowadays to obtain affordable health insurance these days it’s still nice to just get one as part of your benefits.

Working out in the gym didn’t seem to work for Jesse and now she’s on the lookout for an affordable yet effective weight loss pills in the market. With the aid of our wannabe dietician Paula, together the two are on the hunt … lol I just pray that whatever it is they’ll discover and use would be effective and with minimal side effects.

Are you living in the Tennessee area? Have you had some sort of injury due to wreckless driving or any sort of accident? If the answer to all questions is a big YES then you better get yourself one of the well known Tennessee injury lawyers to get back at the perpetrators. They need to pay for damages and should not get away with their crimes. Grrrr … I always hate hit and run scenarios, coward bastards!!

Seeing a picture of an RV on one of the blogs I hopped into reminded me of that movie starring Robbie Williams with the same title. It also made me wanna have one or at least be able to ride one and go on a road trip for days end. Maybe rent one out and chill with friends but then again we don’t have that kind of thing here must be great if you’re in the States and be able to own one of these rides. Of course like every ride it must have its own rv insurance all secured prior to taking ownership of it.

One of the things I think would complete the decor of a house is a rug. Not just any rug but a fine looking rug complete with elegant pattern, material and color combination. Something like the picture on the left, now isn’t it cute or what? When I get my own place I’ll certainly look for one of these. area rugs are common these days and they seem to be a requirement on any home ensemble.
