Outsourced

A friend of mine from work asked me once what TV show I was currently watching and I told him I have just finished Chuck. He then said that I should watch Outsourced as it is very hilarious and that I would love it.

So I did and boy I love it. It’s freaking hilarious and those of us who used to work/are still working in a call center can totally relate to the show.  After watching it till its current episode I have come to the conclusion that I find Gupta the funniest and the craziest of all the employees under Todd’s care. Alright, you ought to watch it … then you’ll like Gupta too. Hehehehe

Tarot Cards

Back in my high school days I have been curious [for the lack of a better word] with wicca and everything that goes with it. I couldn’t find any occult shops here and now when I finally got my own set of tarot cards with a matching book to boot. Weeeeeeee lets take a look at them, shall we?

What Have I Gotten Myself Into??!!!

Sewing like cooking is not my cup of tea … something I do once in a blue moon when I get all lunatic and just wacked out. So last Thursday I went to the mall and bought a sewing kit … the last time I saw these things was when I was in my Junior year, Home Economics where they ask you to sew Aprons and what not …

I am in a swap over at swap-bot which was really crazy and something I would never have done in a million years but for some god forsaken reason I signed up and ended up sewing what I believe is a dotee doll.

[http://oflettersandbeyond.blogspot.com is my swapping blog]

It wasn’t so bad at all, I actually had fun doing it … I guess Share was right when she said we might be surprised to find out that we might like it after all. I think I might make some more though I have no idea what am gonna do with them. They don’t hold a candle to the ones made by pros over at swap-bot and flickr but heck, I made it and its the effort and the thought that counts.

Altered Matchboxes

I have been terribly busy with my swaps over at swap-bot and not to mention my getting sick every now and then, nothing minor just the usual asthma episodes and flu. Anyways, am snagging this pic over from my swapping blog; three altered matchboxes.

List of 100 | Things That Make Me Happy

Oh well … that’s the name of one of the swaps I joined in on swap-bot and though the word “happy” is a bit too much for me. lol But I liked the idea of the swap so I’ve made my list. I was not contented on just writing it on a paper or on just printing it. I’ve posted some of the pics I’ve taken on my other blog but I guess I’ll post a few of ‘em here too.

What’s Keeping Me Busy

Am on leave since the 12th and won’t be back till the 18th supposedly so I could study for the comprehensive exam but life took on a different course and I didn’t make it to the application deadline. So yeah, another wasted year for me … I didn’t go out of the country [I'd love to] because I don’t anyone to accompany me. What’s keeping me busy these days are the following:

Mails

I am back on track with fb’s and what not and ever since I joined swap-bot I’ve been addicted since then, met really nice folks who loves getting mails like I do. I’m also working on my ebay store, my scrapbook, and other altered stuff. I found another outlet and am loving it, wish I could just stay where I am and not go back to work … and deal with … nevermind.

Whimsy Whistles

I haven’t done anything EMO (lol) as of late as I am busy exploring my artistic side (tugs!) but seriously ranting on this blog just doesn’t seem enough anymore. So right now what’s occupying my frizzled brain and my current burning obsession has everything to do with a whimsy jar and all the whimsies on it.

Busy Busy Busy

There are several things that I’ve been meaning to blog about but never found the time actually do ‘em; Randy has asked me to do something for their blog and I haven’t gotten around it; I am terribly busy with this new found addiction (well it’s old but was on hiatus for over 6 years so it’s like starting all over).

I’m currently working on several fbs and a few decos, designing my own and attempting to make it halfway through the first of my vowed scrapbook series. Waaaaaaaaa am so dead! tugs.

High School, Old School, Whatever You Call It!

My friend was shocked when he saw the mess and clutter on my turf when he decided to drop by unannounced. He caught me completely wired, sitting in the middle of my cluttered work area, my artistic side on the loose. lol He was like … what on earth is going on???!!!! his eyes were as big as pancakes. toinks!

I started this hobby when I was 15 and went on hiatus during the college years. You know how demanding college can be so I stopped never thinking I’d ever go back but when I saw my old box still full of supplies and what not I decided to go back. Why not? It sure was fun and being the home buddy that I am this surely gives me more fun than getting wasted somewhere on a Friday night.  Boring??? Oh well … whatever makes you happy right?

Which reminds me of how messy I made my office workstation last weekend, on weekends there are only very few of us on the floor and if we’re lucky not that many calls so I was able to do whatever I wanted, I brought all my printables and in between calls cut them out one by one, making a huge mess on my station. lol

showing the left side

messyoffice2now we have whats on the right side

messyoffice3and there goes “center stage” lol no need to see what’s on my screen though

So with those images being shown, I leave you to imagine what it must have been like at home. Waaaaaaaaaaaa it’s a good thing there are no kids living with me at home otherwise it’d be one hell of a clutter.
