My Pink Shoelace

I have been terribly busy in the past week, never knew I’d get caught in my tasks what with the sudden unexpected projects coming my way. It’s just overwhelming to be having so many projects to work on that I barely have time to blog and visit my friends in the blogosphere. Sorry bout that.

But I’ll be off next week, the start of my LOA that is and hopefully by then I’d be able to manage things out and balance my time. See yah guys and thanks for the visit.

After a couple of email exchanges, it has been confirmed that my beloved aunt has bought me a 1TB external hard drive, the 10.1 camera I asked for and now she has conceded to buying me these books. Weeeeeeee I did a bit of search for online australian bookshops and found a whole lot.  Did a search for the titles I want on these sites and found them to be available, as she is a very busy person, she wouldn’t have the time to pick them up herself from the store. The site would just deliver them to her doorstep, so am getting the following books along with other goodies on the second or third week of April. I can hardly wait!

She doesnt really say no to books amongst many others hehehe, I guess the only time she’d say no is if and when I’ll ask her to buy me a Macbook Pro. Lol

Couple years back it never crossed my mind that I’d be able to make money blogging. It sounded like a very distant and a remote possibility. But thanks to Lex who kept on encouraging me to try it out, here I am a year after glad to have taken the chance and get out of my comfort zone and start writing about things that interest me and about the things that tick me off. A lot of companies out there search to expand their customer base and are always on the look out on how to achieve that. Marketing is the key, how to market their products and services to the masses. That’s were promotions, coupon codes, discount vouchers come in, in the world of online shopping it’s not a wonder why people are getting a lot of what they consider spam/junk emails with advertisements from various companies. That’s one of the company’s way to get to the consumers … electronic advertising.

Though I don’t find this quite successful because if there are consumers out there like me who just readily empty out the bulk folder without opening a single email what good would that email advertisement do? So now a lot of companies opted for blog advertising, seeing the growing number of people with online presence and how each has a certain base of readership.

So are you a company looking to advertise your products and services? Then try blog marketing and see results.

I was told that the skin on the face is the most sensitive of all skin parts and that using different facial wash and cleansers can cause long lasting damage to it. Some products who advertise to be able to clean your face of those acne and pimples can even worsen them so when it comes to cleanser and acne treatment one should consult a dermatologist first because what might work on one person doesn’t necessarily guarantee the same effect on another.

There are 17 of us, friends since highschool, now one has gotten married and had her baby (the first) last year and as part of the “barkada” all 16 of us were godmothers and godfathers to Pricilla Minette.

I was not present at her baptism so I made sure that last night (she turned one) I’d be there. So I was and so were the rest of us (not the complete set) but people I haven’t seen in like ages were there.

I don’t really know what godmothers do but as instinct told me, I was s’pose to bring her a gift hehe w/c I didn’t. Oh well … there’s always a next time. Weeeeeeee

While talking to Shane last night, he mentioned that amongst his urgent projects this year is to get himself a set of tire chains. He is also planning to get his dad a set as a birthday present. Big boys and their big toys. lol … am not sure how much this would cost but the guys has been scouring the net for the cheapest he could find. From online shops to amazon and ebay. Hope he finds a good deal.

If all goes well by next month, Momie Cherry, Feme and I might push through with our overdue trip to Kuala Lumpur. Am crossing my fingers that hopefully this time we’ll be able to do it. Was checking for fares and flight scheds last night but am not so positive if I’ll be able to go home in time for my Wednesday class. There doesn’t seem to be any scheds available for Wednesday.  So another vacation for me still in Asia but hopefully if things really go well for me this year I might be able to afford Vegas vacations offered by various travel agencies here, or maybe a trip to Europe. Oh well, am going way over again. Heheh just another wishful thinking.

There was a huge Converse sale at SM couple of weeks back, didn’t go there intentionally coz I know I won’t go out of the shop empty handed. With 4 pairs I dont think I need another one. Hehehe
